Gangs Of New York City Private Tour

Book Gangs of NYC Tour Here!

Take a walking tour where the most famous gangsters of New York City ruled the streets.

Our tour starts at the Tweed Courthouse, built by William “Boss” Tweed, head of Tammany Hall and de facto ruler of New York City. We’ll see the home of the NYPD and FBI and the courthouses where many criminal careers have ended. We’ll pass the old Five Points, depicted in the movie “Gangs of New York” and at one point called the most violent place in the world.

I will bring you to Chinatown to show you places like the “Bloody Angle” where gang battles took place and the entrances to tunnels once used by gangs to avoid the police and rival gangs.

No Gangs of New York City tour would be complete without a walk through Little Italy. We’ll see the Ravenite Social Club where John Gotti and Carlo Gambino hung out, the church from “The Godfather” and even stop by the bar where wiseguy Lefty Ruggiero first met undercover FBI agent Joseph D. Pistone aka Donnie Brasco. This same bar was used as John Sacrimoni and Phil Leotardo’s HQ in the Sopranos.

Meet up location: Your tour starts at City Hall; I’ll meet you at your hotel and personally escort you there. All my tours allow plenty of time for photos, questions and breaks if you like. This is YOUR tour and I work at your pace.
